About The Position

JMR Construction is currently seeking an experienced Construction Laborers and Equipment Operators with a Strong Work Ethic. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of construction knowledge and the ability to operate small to medium equipment used in site work.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Skill to operate equipment in close proximity to workers and underground utilities
Ability to think clearly no matter the stress or difficulty of your circumstances
Ability and commitment to working safety
Attention to detail and situational awareness to maintain the safety of the work environment
Strong work ethic
Take initiative and anticipate what needs to be done
Show abilities and willingness to learn and understand your role on the team
Bend and lift comfortably
Lift 50+ pounds
Sit for long periods while operating equipment
Ability to withstand physical labor in extreme weather conditions
Practice safety at all times including driving of company vehicles or use of equipment
Use PPE while on jobsite to include: hard hat, safety glasses, ear protection, high visibility vest, steel toe boots, pants, and gloves
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Must possess a valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR

Responsibilities

Ability to operate various pieces of equipment in accordance with company procedures and safety regulations
Regularly clean equipment to preserve its quality and functionality
Abide by all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as all company and client safety procedures
Commit to the overall safety of the work environment by always taking extra precautions to work with the utmost care and consideration
Come each day ready to work as a team
