The Construction Technician will assist installation and other teams with the activation of fiber-optic telecommunication services in customer homes, including single-family residences, condos, and apartments. This involves installing and servicing video, telephone, and internet services, troubleshooting technical issues from the telecommunications demark to customer premise equipment, and installing ancillary equipment. The role also includes installing RF In-Building cellular systems, performing equipment repair, maintenance, and testing, and installing conduit/pathways through trenching, excavating, and hand digging. The technician will use RF test equipment, utilize construction documents, coordinate utility locates, implement traffic control plans, and troubleshoot electrical circuits, RF radios, and antennas. Adherence to safety practices, including safe driving techniques, and local electrical codes is essential.
