About The Position

Yukon Management, LLC. is seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our tea m for a project at Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado, pending contract award. The Construction Superintendent is responsible for managing day-to-day construction operations in the field . This position requires proven experience working on federal government projects and ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and contractual requirements .

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of construction experience, including at least 3 years a s a Civil Superintendent or related roles.
  • Strong working knowledge of federal government construction contracts (e.g., USACE, NAVFAC, GSA, or similar).
  • Proven ability to interpret and enforce specifications, drawings, and contract requirements.
  • Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills .
  • OSHA 30 certification required; additional safety or federal training credentials preferred.
  • Active clearance or HSPD-12 badging, preferred.
  • Strong work ethic with a passion to fulfill commitments.
  • Remarkable enthusiasm.
  • Sincere obligation to client satisfaction.
  • Ability to pass a background and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 30 certification required; additional safety or federal training credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of on-site construction, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Coordinate and direct subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel, ensuring adherence to contract documents and project specifications.
  • Conduct daily site inspections and meetings to ensure progress, quality, and safety compliance.
  • Maintain accurate field documentation including daily reports, manpower logs, and subcontractor coordination records.
  • Foster positive client, stakeholder, and team relationships through clear communication and professional representation.
  • Collaborate with the project management team and federal clients to resolve conflicts, review scopes, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Participate in the company's safety program and ensure compliance by all field staff and subcontractors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
