Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent with a strong background in managing multifamily unit projects, with a preferred experience of 7 to 10 years. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of overseeing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, specifically with multifamily unit projects.
Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within tight deadlines.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
Proficiency in construction management software and project scheduling tools.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
OSHA certification and other relevant industry certifications (preferred).

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all phases of multifamily construction projects, from initial planning to final inspection and handover.
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues or discrepancies.
Manage and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during construction, maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.
Ensure optimal utilization of labor, materials, and equipment to achieve project objectives.
Monitor and control project costs, ensuring budget adherence and minimizing waste.
Procure necessary permits and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
Conduct regular quality assurance checks and inspections to identify and rectify any deficiencies.
Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, changes, and quality control activities.
Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures on-site.
Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
Investigate and report any accidents or incidents, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
