About The Position

This is a full-time, direct placement role at BFC Construction. Position Overview As a Commercial Construction Superintendent, you’ll lead on-site operations for tenant improvement projects—ranging from medical and dental offices to high profile restaurants like Starbucks and Burger King—ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction across the Everett-Tacoma corridor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical or construction management education preferred.
  • 5+ years supervising commercial tenant improvement projects.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and building codes.
  • Proven track record in site logistics, safety, and quality control.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in construction scheduling tools (Procore, PlanGrid, MS Project).
  • OSHA 30-Hour certification or equivalent (preferred).

  • Experience with medical, dental, and restaurant builds.

Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight: Direct daily on-site construction activities for tenant improvements (medical, dental, restaurants).
  • Scheduling & Budgeting: Coordinate project schedules, manage labor, monitor material deliveries, and uphold budgets.
  • Quality Assurance: Enforce BFC Construction’s high standards and Class A building qualifications.
  • Safety Leadership: Champion OSHA and company safety protocols; conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
  • Coordination: Manage subs, vendors, inspectors, and stakeholders; ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Client Relations: Interface with clients (e.g., office managers, franchisees) and architects; address needs and maintain positive client experiences.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain daily logs, track project metrics, manage RFIs, and produce progress reports.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve on-site challenges swiftly—whether unforeseen site conditions or scheduling conflicts.
