About The Position

Red Leaf Developments, Inc. is a design-build firm redefining the standard for outdoor living environments. Specializing in high-end residential and commercial pool and landscape design/construction, our vision is to deliver personalized, innovative spaces that enhance our clients' daily lives. We are seeking a highly organized Construction Site Superintendent to manage day-to-day operations across multiple high-end pool and landscape project sites. The Site Superintendent is instrumental in fulfilling our commitments to clients. This role involves managing the construction process, coordinating with onsite teams, scheduling project timelines, and overseeing labor and material management and expenditures. The Superintendent is Red Leaf's on-site leader -- upholding our standards, solving problems in real time, and ensuring the project team has everything needed to keep the schedule moving.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a construction leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, jobsite coordination, and field problem-solving.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Clear communication skills and professional, client-focused demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace
  • Highly organized, proactive, and aligned with Red Leaf's high-performance culture.
  • The ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds, the ability to stoop, crawl, kneel, bend at the neck and waist, twist at the neck and waist, grasp, use fine manipulation, reach above shoulder height, lift, sit, and stand for long periods of time (up to 10 hours per day).
  • All applicants must be willing to submit to drug and background tests.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in pool, landscape, or hardscape construction strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily on-site construction activities for assigned projects, including coordinating subcontractors, field crews, and inspectors.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and jobsite cleanliness.
  • Closely monitor the critical path of the project to identify and address potential delays that could impact the overall schedule; communicate promptly with the Project Manager and Head of Construction.
  • Track material quantities, equipment needs, and site logistics to keep work moving efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, photos, as-built notes, and inspection documentation.
  • Assist with scheduling inspections, problem-solving field conditions, and ensuring punch-list items are completed.
  • Verify work is completed according to plans and Red Leaf's quality expectations.
  • Represent Red Leaf professionally when interacting with clients, neighbors, inspectors, and trade partners.
