About The Position

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of field operations on construction projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. This role involves direct supervision of subcontractors, proactive management of project budgets, enforcement of quality control measures, and consistent documentation and communication with internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include effective coordination and scheduling of subcontractors, diligent cost management with a focus on cost-saving opportunities, and maintenance of detailed project documentation. The Superintendent ensures compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements, maintains professional relationships with subcontractors, and actively upholds company and client quality expectations. Clear and timely communication with project managers, clients, and subcontractors is essential to support successful project execution and client satisfaction.

  • High level of accuracy in maintaining comprehensive job site documentation
  • Familiarity with digital tools or software for job file documentation
  • Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues promptly and effectively
  • Keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality construction outcomes
  • Skilled in communicating budget status, variances, and cost concerns with project managers
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage project budgets effectively
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years of experience in the construction industry with at least 2-3 years in a superintendent or field leadership role
  • Hands-on experience with construction documentation, project scheduling, and subcontractor oversight
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations, local building codes, and job site safety practices
  • Proven experience managing commercial and/or residential construction projects from start to finish

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, or a related field preferred
