A role in Construction means leading the execution of store and distribution center projects. From large program rollouts to unique special projects, or large ground-up construction, you’ll help manage the scope, schedule, and budget for all Target construction projects, including adhering to the project timeline, coordinating and overseeing the onsite construction process and turnover. You’ll keep all of the players and partners aligned with effective communication between vendors, general contractors, field leadership and project teams. As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll take the lead as you develop and manage scopes, budgets, and schedules; as well as direct, supervise, and control the construction, fixture installation, and architecture and engineering design milestones for assigned projects or programs to meet established goals and objectives. Using your skills and experience, you will assist with all aspects of the process. By reviewing and analyzing contractor bids, you will make recommendations and approve subcontractor bids, conduct contract negotiations, review and approve changes to the contract and applications for payments, and close out all necessary contracts. You’ll conduct cross-functional meetings throughout the lifecycle of a project to monitor the activities and budgets of other departments that affect the project as well as ensuring that project milestones are being met. You will be responsible for project completion within approved budget which includes obtaining, reviewing, and maintaining the budget input from other documents. In this role, your key focus will be in ensuring successful project execution while maintaining Target’s quality standards. Requirements

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in construction project management
  • Advanced knowledge of construction processes, industry standards and best practices
