About The Position
Our growing client is seeking an experienced Construction Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across active project sites. This role is responsible for implementing and enforcing safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a strong culture of safety among field teams. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a safety professional who thrives in dynamic project environments and is passionate about protecting teams and maintaining high safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of construction safety experience
- OSHA 510 certification required
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards
- Proven leadership ability with experience supervising field teams
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and educate teams
- Valid driver's license required

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and enforce job site safety policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety requirements
- Promote a proactive safety culture across all project teams
- Conduct safety training sessions and toolbox talks for field personnel
- Provide guidance and direction to teams on safe work practices
- Lead by example to reinforce safety expectations on-site
- Perform regular safety audits and job site inspections
- Identify hazards and implement corrective actions to prevent incidents
- Monitor ongoing work to ensure adherence to safety protocols
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses
- Prepare reports and recommend preventative measures
- Collaborate with leadership to improve safety performance
- Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and field teams
- Provide updates and recommendations to leadership on safety performance
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety practices
