Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field preferred.
  • 5+ years in estimating, including 1+ years in restoration; proficiency with Xactimate and CoreLogic DASH software.
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills; results-oriented mindset with strong multi-tasking and detail-orientation.
  • Honest, dependable, and highly communicative—able to negotiate, collect deposits, and set project expectations clearly.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to respond to on-call needs as necessary.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the client experience—driving satisfaction through consistently clear, professional communication with clients, PMs, and stakeholders.
  • Develop scopes of work, create estimates, and coordinate all warranty-related scheduling.
  • Oversee subcontractor relationships—vetting, onboarding/licensing, availability, and compliance.
  • Handle permits, inspections, project budgets, material orders, and Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Provide weekly project reporting; conduct site inspections, final walkthroughs, and ensure closeout documentation is accurate on each file.
  • Lead Work‑in‑Progress meetings; ensure seamless communication between reconstruction and mitigation teams.
  • Train and mentor construction team members; manage day-to-day operations and uphold safety and quality standards.
  • Execute change orders, update schedules, resolve on-site issues, and ensure compliance with codes, specs, and company policies.
  • Travel is required-Duluth, Grand Rapids, Bemidji. Company vehicle provided for travel.
