About The Position

Aldevra is currently seeking a qualified Construction Quality Assurance Representative to support the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) by performing Construction Management Services (CMS) at the Whiteman Air Force Base (WAFB) in Whiteman Air Force Base, MO. Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain Common Access Card (CAC) clearance.
  • Must be able to pass a security background check via fingerprint investigation and pass access request thru Trusted Associate Sponsorship System (TASS)
  • This position requires passing an extensive background check.
  • High school diploma
  • Minimum construction experience of 5 years
  • Plan and specification interpretation expertise
  • Knowledge of construction (means methods and techniques) and contract administration
  • Knowledge in Building Codes and Standards
  • Must possess a deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and testing procedures, with the ability to objectively assess the quality of workmanship and materials used on the project
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams, including military personnel, civilian engineers, and construction contractors
  • Valid Real-ID state-issued driver’s license
  • Excellent and accurate written communication
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems; online calendars and cloud systems; intermediate to advanced skills Microsoft office products required
  • Excellent attention to detail; accurate data entry
  • Customer Focused and team-oriented work ethic
  • Able to multi-task efficiently and accurately, focusing on quality

Nice To Haves

  • Expertise in the installation and QA of secure communication networks and infrastructure and construction in compliance with ICD 705 is desired
  • Advanced Security Systems: Experience with physical security systems, access control, and surveillance technologies relevant to high-security facilities is desired
  • Aircraft Support Facilities: Knowledge of the unique requirements for aircraft maintenance hangars, fuel storage, and other specialized support facilities is desired
  • Understanding of Whiteman AFB security protocols and existing infrastructure is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe, quality delivery of construction projects for the Whiteman Air Force Base Resident Office, predominantly the B-21 Raider Beddown Program
  • Proactively engaging in all phases of the construction process, with a strong focus on verifying the contractor's adherence to contractual requirements, specifications, and industry best practices
  • Identifying potential issues before they impact safety, quality, schedule, or cost
  • Thoroughly reviewing contract plans, specifications, shop drawings, and submittals to gain a complete understanding of the project requirements
  • Continuously observe construction activities on-site, evaluating the effectiveness of the contractor's Quality Control (QC) program and holding the contractor's QC management team accountable to ultimately deliver quality end product
  • Actively communicating potential risks, recommending solutions, and collaborating with the contractor and Government team to ensure the successful execution of Whiteman Air Force Base projects
  • Travel may be required to manufacturing sites in Missouri or Kansas
  • All other duties as assigned.
