Requirements

• Bachelors (Required)
• Automobile Insurance (AUTO INS) - Automobile Insurance (AUTO INS)
• Driver License Num (DRIVER LIC) - Department of Motor Vehicles
• Must have knowledge of building systems, design and construction techniques, Joint Commission, AHCA code, applicable NFPA codes, ADA, Infection Control Procedures, and Florida Building Code as applied to ongoing planning/design/construction projects; ability to read, interpret, and apply construction document and specification information; working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, e-Builder, and AutoCAD.
• Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in related to the design, construction, or planning of large projects, complex facilities, or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Ten (10) years of experience may be considered in lieu of the Bachelor's degree.
• in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the development of quality control initiatives to improve project delivery, standardize work practices and ensure compliance with MHS policies, government codes and regulations.
• Provides project leadership, coordination, and facilitation with internal and external parties to meet project goals, communicates/obtains information, and proactively identifies and resolves project-related issues.
• Prepares and oversees all financial aspects of a project, including estimates, project budget, funding, purchase orders, change orders, and requisition payments, from feasibility through close-out.
• Identifies and resolves budget problems, project risks, develops and maintains project cost reports and schedules.
• Prepares weekly project status and schedule updates and reports and monitors/updates construction schedules.
• Provides a full range of project management services for the development, design, construction, completion, and activation of assigned construction projects including managing scope, schedule, cost, risk, and resources.
• Provides programming, space plans/test fits, space surveys, and develops architectural / engineering drawings and specifications for assigned projects.
