About The Position

Cedar Park Group is seeking a Construction Manager to lead on-site execution of solar projects from notice to proceed through commissioning and closeout. This is a field leadership role focused on coordination, safety, and project delivery. The ideal candidate has strong experience managing construction sites, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Position Overview The Construction Manager will oversee day-to-day field operations on solar construction projects, managing subcontractors, schedules, safety compliance, and progress reporting. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to coordinate across engineering, procurement, and internal teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of construction management experience (solar preferred)
• 1+ year of photovoltaic (PV) construction experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of NEC (2014 required, 2017+ preferred)
• OSHA 30 certification required
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage schedules, budgets, and field operations effectively
• Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed
• Ability to work independently and lead teams in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations and subcontractor coordination
• Maintain project schedule, budget, and quality standards
• Enforce site safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and internal teams
• Track project progress and provide daily and weekly reporting
• Identify and resolve field issues to keep projects on schedule
• Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with project specifications
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient job site
