We are looking for a full-time Construction Project Manager with a passion for construction and safety as well as the drive to continually learn, grow, and succeed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel. Responsible for preplanning, execution, and closing of projects. A Construction Project Manager will assume leadership of the entire construction team and will assure the timely and economical completion of each project assigned. The Construction Project Manager will concur with the mission of RealAmerica Construction, LLC to provide a service of high quality through excellent internal and external customer relationships.

Requirements

College degree in construction field or equivalent experience
5-7 years of relevant experience in multi-family housing construction
Ability to manage multiple projects at various phases
Ability to master project-specific software systems including, but not limited to: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) Outlook, ProCore, Blue Beam and/or Adobe software
Experience working with smartphones, iPads, and tablets
OSHA 30-Hour Certification
CPR/AED Certification
Valid drivers license
Ability to organize necessary resources, people, processes, time and tools to meet tight schedules, client expectations and conflicting priorities to achieve desired results
Ability to work with numerous contractors and sub-contractors in an efficient manner
Ability to update project management software
Effective time management skills
Ability to think analytically and manage multiple priorities
Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally with a strong focus on business writing and verbal skills
Mastery of building processes and best practices is required
Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees
A valid drivers license, background and DMV check and drug screen will be required upon acceptance of an offer to the candidate.

AutoCAD experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Review the construction contract and or lease documents to understand the obligations of RealAmerica Construction, LLC as they pertain to design, budget, schedule and other construction related issues
Assist to ensure that the design work of the Architect, Engineers and various design/build subcontractors is proceeding as scheduled and is in coordination with each others design work
Assist Preconstruction & Estimating Manager in interviewing, scope review and selection of subcontractors and vendors
Secure and obtain all necessary building permits, including city, state and local, finalize all permits required, certificate of occupancy, substantial completion, etc.
Meet with the Preconstruction to prepare a project execution plan as to how the project will be constructed
Promote a team relationship with the Construction Superintendent and work closely to achieve required project results. Ensure Superintendents are adhering to their Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Form the project execution plan, develop a construction schedule that will incorporate any owner special conditions or milestone dates that will allow a successful completion of the construction effort
Critical issues, safety, schedule status, progress photographs (manage via Procore and ensure that they are being updated), contract status, and progress to date
