About The Position

DUTIES: Oversee project QA/QC: approve and implement client specific QA/QC documents; develop and implement client specific TOP (Turn Over Package); implement proper QA/QC procedures tied to client specifics Ensure project data is correctly reported to CMIC Construction Software. Evaluate and review the client’s design. Identifying and providing solutions to issues. Provide technical assistance to the field support team. Analyze any items requiring outside discipline assistance (i.e. Structural and Civil) and provide interface with such disciplines. Provide input in project planning sessions. Help analyze all financial aspects of project(s) through ongoing job forecasting. Assist in staff and internal resource coordination. Track project(s) progress and adapt work as required. Properly define and cost out all FCN (Field Change Notice) work. Cultivate relationships with other on-site contractors and nurture relationships with clients. Design risk mitigation plan. Conduct project(s) review and create detailed reports for executive staff. Optimize and improve processes and the overall approach when and where necessary. Secure growth opportunities for initiating new projects. This position may supervise the Construction Management Team including Superintendent, Safety Manager, Materials Manager and Documentation Control and Scheduling persons

Requirements

  • 5 years’ experience in Electrical and Instrumentation construction.
  • Must have experience in/with electrical drawing, VLF testing, Hi-pots, QA/QC inspection and testing, and installation of high voltage equipment.
