About The Position

Ryan Companies has an immediate hiring need for a Project Manager II opportunity in our downtown Minneapolis headquarters. This is an office position, 4 days in the office and 1 day work from home each week. This individual will be primarily responsible for administration of assigned projects, including specific phases of project management under limited to no supervision, working with schedules, cost projections, contracts, and project status reports. Some things you can expect to do: Participate in owner/client sales presentations. Engage in design development, budget preparation, and project schedule. Monitor job costs. Prepare and control budget, schedule, and bid documents; negotiate and award subcontracts; help prepare profit projections. Conduct jobsite coordination meetings and job status reports. Conduct project close-out duties, including final cost, punch list, final billing, and final collection of fees. Some things we expect you should have: 6 years of commercial construction experience. Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field. Advanced knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing. Proficiency with Microsoft Project and other project management tools. You will really stand out if you have: Proven ability to manage commercial projects including office and tenant improvement type projects in the $1-$30 million range. Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with superintendents, subcontractors and owner/clients. Minimum of six months of estimating/preconstruction and Field experience.

Requirements
