About The Position

The Greenridge Group is a prime contractor and consulting firm specializing in Project and Construction Management for major public-sector agencies. We are looking for a Project Manager II (Assistant Project Manager) to join our team supporting a major capital project at LAX - the Replacement Fire Station 51 (FS51). Salary Range: $155K/Year-$170K/Year - Dependent on Candidate's Qualifications

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in construction or project management
  • Experience working on large-scale projects ($40M+)
  • Familiarity with Design-Build or Progressive Design-Build delivery
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • Strong communication and coordination skills in a multi-stakeholder environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, active job site
  • Skills - Bluebeam and/or project management tools, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager in overseeing scope, schedule, and budget
  • Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to keep the project moving forward
  • Assist with planning, procurement, and execution of construction activities
  • Track project progress and help identify risks, delays, or cost impacts
  • Help review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications
  • Participate in meetings and help communicate updates clearly across teams
  • Support quality, safety, and compliance throughout all phases of the project
  • Assist with project reporting, documentation, and closeout activities
