WE BUILD DURING WINTER! WE HIRE VETERANS We are currently hiring a Production Manager to provide support to our Production crew and perform a variety of tasks throughout the Greater Kansas City area. Overseeing the Production Department network wide. The Production Manager oversees the full lifecycle of roofing, gutter, siding, and exterior restoration projects generated through insurance claims and retail. This role focuses on fast-moving, high-volume storm work year round while ensuring jobs are completed safely, accurately, profitably, and according to insurance-approved scopes and company standards. Requirements

  • 3 – 5 years minimum experience in roofing production or storm restoration. Experience in roofing, siding, and gutters is required.
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Ability to climb roofs and navigate steep pitches and work extended hours during season
  • Experience with CRM platforms like Acculynx, JobNimbus, CompanyCam, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of insurance claim processes, Xactimate, and restoration scopes.
  • Ability to identify missing line items and communicate with teams
  • Ability to manage high volumes and fast-paced production during storm surges.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational ability with constant shifting priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage high-volume job loads common during storm seasons and year round.
  • Prioritize jobs based on adjuster approvals, material availability, and crew capacity.
  • Review and confirm Xactimate scopes, measurements, and supplements before scheduling production.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Supplemental Teams to ensure all additional items are captured and approved before installation.
  • Some traveling to different markets for required jobs and training!
  • Assign crews daily based on job complexity, weather, location, and skillset.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for rapid material turnarounds on roofing, gutters, siding, and emergency repairs.
  • Track all special-order items (siding colors, metal, etc.).
  • Identify discrepancies and communicate them immediately to Sales or Supplemental teams.
  • Prevent scope creep, missed items, and unauthorized changes that could affect profitability.
  • Maintain a roster of reliable subcontractor crews across roofing, gutters, and siding trades.
  • Provide clear job instructions, scope details, and install expectations daily.
  • Address workmanship issues immediately and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure crews follow all OSHA and safety protocols.
  • Ensure job sites remain clean, safe, and compliant with local building codes.
  • Oversee the communication of schedules, delays, weather changes, and progress updates.
  • Oversee the communication between Production Team, Sales Team, and Supplemental Team regarding supplements, change orders, and customer concerns.
  • Document all communication and job progress in CRM.
  • All other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
