The Construction Process Director is a leadership role within the Construction organization of Vistra, a Fortune 500 Independent Power Producer. This individual is accountable for leading a team the full lifecycle integration of project controls, construction quality assurance, and contract strategy across electric generation projects — with particular emphasis on combined cycle power plant development, construction, and commissioning. The role serves as a critical interface between engineering, construction, supply chain, legal, lenders, and independent engineers, ensuring all projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will be a systems-oriented leader who thrives in complex, multi-disciplinary environments, can translate technical requirements into executable processes, and possesses the credibility to influence senior stakeholders across functional boundaries. This role will be responsible for implementation over 1-2 years, building a team, working to define roles and responsibilities with other Vistra organizations.
