About The Position

We are seeking a seasoned Landscape Construction Operations Director to manage and optimize daily operations across multiple active landscape construction projects. This senior leadership position is responsible for driving operational performance, strengthening team capabilities, and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to high-quality standards. The ideal candidate combines hands-on field experience with strong operational strategy, demonstrating the ability to streamline workflows, allocate resources effectively, and lead high-performing teams.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience managing construction or landscape operations at a leadership level
Strong team-building and supervisory skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities simultaneously
Comprehensive understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and field logistics
Proficiency in budgeting, cost tracking, and performance analysis
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-resolution abilities
Valid driver’s license with the ability to visit job sites regularly

Responsibilities

Direct operational activities across several concurrent landscape construction projects
Supervise, mentor, and develop project managers, site supervisors, and field personnel
Enhance scheduling systems, workflow processes, and labor planning strategies
Monitor financial performance, project budgets, timelines, and gross margins
Enforce safety policies, quality assurance standards, and company operating procedures
Allocate labor, equipment, and materials efficiently across job sites
Identify bottlenecks or operational risks and implement corrective solutions
Report performance metrics and operational updates to executive leadership
Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and profitability
