Requirements

Associate degree in civil engineering, drafting, or a similar degree, or a combination of a high school diploma or equivalent, and 3-5 years of relevant construction experience.
Ability to read and interpret design plans and make necessary assumptions maintaining design intent to create accurate grading and stakeout models
Ability to listen to and understand contractor needs and ability in software to complete assigned tasks
Ability to learn new software as dictated by project requirements and your team leaders
Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic will allow you to excel in this position
Ability to work 40 hours a week
Ability to work in the posted locations
Work is primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment, occasional travel or field visits may be required to support

Nice To Haves

Experience with 3D design preferred

Responsibilities

Proficient in Trimble Business Center
Draft construction As-builts, basic plan sheets and other deliverables as needed
Anility to read and understand construction plans and technical documents and have a strong understanding of design software packages
Work independently to build accurate grading models based off on engineering plans ensuring design intent
Experience with 3D design preferred
Perform design calculations, quantity, and cost estimates and alignment and profile design
