Step into Your New Role Kleinfelder is currently seeking an Onsite Laboratory Technician to perform testing, and provide coordination, quality management, and oversight to its lab in Seattle, WA. This position is flex position with an opportunity to convert to a full-time regular position. We provide construction inspection and material testing services to a broad range of local and national clients. We are looking for individuals who are interested in in joining a dynamic team and building their career in the field of construction inspection and materials testing. We're looking for a person with strong initiative, who will perform routine to complex testing of construction materials in the laboratory, to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications and geotechnical engineering purposes. The Technician will perform testing on soils, asphalt, aggregates, and concrete materials. Must be detail oriented. Technician may be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor. The successful candidate will be encouraged to expand their skills and certifications through company provided training and mentoring. Must be able to use a computer and a general knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required. Must have own vehicle, a valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Majority of work will be at the Seattle Office Laboratory but must be willing to travel locally as required to fulfill project assignments. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Requirements
