About The Position

This contract Construction Manager will support capital and maintenance projects
across utility-owned generation assets. The selected professional will integrate into
established project teams and provide steady field leadership within active, regulated
generation environments. This role requires direct utility or power generation
construction experience. Commercial construction or non-utility industrial
backgrounds will not align with project scope.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in regulated utility or power generation construction
• Direct experience supporting hydroelectric or natural gas generation facilities
• Proven outage planning and execution experience
• Experience coordinating with plant operations in live generation environments
• Demonstrated safety leadership

Nice To Haves

• Hydroelectric powerhouse project exposure
• Familiarity with turbine-generator systems
• Experience working within environmentally sensitive or regulated environments
• Project management certification

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities at hydroelectric and natural gas generation sites
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural scopes within operational facilities
• Support turbine-generator upgrades and balance-of-plant improvements
• Manage outage-driven construction schedules
• Coordinate work within hydro facilities under environmental and licensing constraints
• Lead daily safety planning and enforce utility-grade safety standards
• Collaborate with plant operations and engineering teams
• Track project milestones, contractor performance, and cost control
• Maintain documentation consistent with regulated utility oversight
