Take the lead on in‑house skilled trade teams, including carpentry and painting, supporting renovation, construction, and improvement work across JSM’s property portfolio. Own construction projects from early planning through completion, including renovations, capital improvements, and new construction, with responsibility for day‑to-day progress and results. Translate project plans into action by defining scopes of work, coordinating internal teams and external partners, and keeping work moving forward. Manage project budgets, schedules, and bids, balancing cost, quality, and timeline expectations. Build and maintain project schedules, track progress, identify constraints and long‑lead items, and work through challenges as they arise to keep projects on track. Spend time on active jobsites to check progress, address issues, and confirm work meets quality standards, safety expectations, and approved plans. Coordinate permits and inspections with local authorities and ensure work complies with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and OSHA requirements. Keep projects organized and visible by maintaining clear documentation around scope, schedules, costs, changes, and progress using project management and Microsoft 365 tools. Collaborate with Capital Projects, Commercial, and Development teams on current and future construction and development initiatives.
