About The Position

Founded in 1894, Washington Golf & Country Club is one of the nation's most distinguished private clubs, known for exceptional service, beautiful grounds, and a commitment to continuous improvement. We take pride in maintaining a first-class environment for our members and staff, and we are seeking a skilled, results- driven Construction Manager to support and enhance our facilities. As the Construction Manager, you will oversee projects of all sizes and nature from planning to completion. The Construction Manager will be the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring that every project is executed properly.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years in construction management or a similar role.
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent field experience).
  • Certifications: OSHA; PMP, and/or CCM is ideal.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of managing successful projects with both technical and personality skills.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and must be able to perform work without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Manage daily project or project details and ensure compliance with blueprints, safety regulations, and building codes.
  • Scheduling & Budgeting: Develop comprehensive project timelines and manage budgets to prevent overruns.
  • Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts with vendors and supervise subcontractors to ensure quality craftsmanship.
  • Proactive Planning: Identify various needs around the facility, propose the project or projects for approval and follow with implementation.
  • Reporting: Provide regular progress updates to management and maintain meticulous project documentation.
