The Construction Manager participates in operational strategic planning and is responsible for managing and organizing all aspects of a division, very large project, or multiple projects. Key functional areas include recruiting, schedule management, staff development, and ensuring strong performance in cost, productivity, quality, and safety. The manager is responsible for planning jobsite layouts, developing quality work plans, managing project costs to meet or exceed bid productivity, and ensuring project milestones are met. They oversee overall quality construction performance, ensure compliance with safety policies, and provide technical guidance. The role also involves fostering staff development, maintaining strong relationships with customers and engineers, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and company policies, while also contributing to business growth.
