Requirements

  • 5+ years of construction project management experience
  • Experience managing commercial and/or residential construction projects
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and construction teams
  • Knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and permitting processes
  • Familiarity with building codes, inspections, and compliance requirements
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of construction from pre-construction through project completion
  • Develop and manage project schedules and timelines
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Conduct regular job site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers for construction projects
  • Solicit and review subcontractor bids and proposals
  • Assist in negotiating subcontractor agreements
  • Manage change orders and construction documentation
  • Manage local commercial projects performed by the company’s general contracting business
  • Oversee construction for projects such as retail locations, restaurants, and multi-site commercial work within the region
  • Coordinate subcontractors and ensure projects meet schedule and budget requirements
  • Coordinate permitting and regulatory approvals
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, inspections, and safety requirements
  • Maintain project documentation and compliance records
  • Track construction budgets and monitor project costs
  • Review invoices and approve payments for subcontractors and vendors
  • Identify cost control opportunities while maintaining quality standards
  • Manage renovation and improvement projects for existing company properties
  • Coordinate contractors for building upgrades, repairs, and capital improvement projects
  • Oversee construction-related maintenance work
