About The Position

In this role, you will work closely with the project management team to assist with the coordination, maintenance, and management of documentation needed for permanent project records. This includes handling subcontract field document control and filing, which encompasses Submittal Packages, Shop Drawings, Safety Manuals, SDS files, and Change Orders. You will also be responsible for third-party quality inspection reporting and follow-up, as well as maintaining project logs such as inspection reporting, compliance letters, and subcontractor correspondence. Additionally, you will assist in coordinating on-site construction activities for multifamily construction projects, interpreting design/drawings, specifications, submittals, and other construction documents. Your support will extend to Superintendents, Project Managers, and Project Engineers in project-related technical and logistical functions, including subcontractor planning and administration. You will help manage the project schedule to ensure safe and quality workmanship, track project milestone dates, and work with the project team to manage the activities required to achieve them. You will develop a complete understanding of all contracts, subcontract documents, drawings, specifications, show drawings, schedules, labor agreements, and local codes. Under the supervision of the Superintendent team, you will contribute to managing onsite work to ensure compliance with approved contract documents. Participation in pre-construction meetings with all trades to review the scope of work and establish expectations for production is also part of your responsibilities. You will promote and maintain onsite job safety standards and conduct regular safety inspections, taking remedial action when necessary. Additionally, you will assist with the management of building permits, inspections, and final walkthroughs, and complete applicable field documentation for daily reports, meeting minutes, drawings, RFI, etc.

Requirements

  • Procore knowledge.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 application suite, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with MS Project, P6, or similar scheduling software.
  • Effective organization and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to travel locally to project sites as needed.
  • Willingness to work in excess of 40 hours per week.
  • Consistent, regular, and in-person attendance during assigned hours.
