About The Position

KCI is hiring a Engineering Intern to join our Construction Management team in San Antonio, TX. The intern will work under the supervision of a technical manager within one of KCI's many diverse consulting, engineering, scientific, or design practices to gain exposure to real world projects and daily work tasks.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a college Engineering program.
• Minimum GPA 3.0.
• Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment.
• Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.

Nice To Haves

• MicroStation or AutoCAD skills desired but not required.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of plans, quantities, and cost estimates.
• Assist in the design and analysis of engineering projects.
• Conduct research and gather data to support project development.
• Assist in the preparation technical drawings, reports, and documentation.
• Participate in site visits and field work.
• Collaborate with team members to develop innovative solutions.
• Perform calculations and simulations using engineering software.
• Provide on-time delivery of project expectations with favorable feedback.
• Perform administrative or office management duties.
