Reef and our construction/development teams are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Construction Management Interns to join our team for Summer 2026 . This intern will gain hands-on experience in construction management by assisting with site observation, project supervision, planning, and scheduling. This role offers a valuable opportunity to work closely with project managers, superintendents, and field personnel on real-world construction projects.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in construction and project management.
  • Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication , organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in varying weather and construction conditions.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily site observations, including documentation of construction progress, safety compliance, and quality control.
  • Support project supervision by coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring work aligns with project plans and timelines.
  • Work with Reef's construction teams to develop and maintain cost libraries
  • Aid in the development and maintenance of project schedules, tracking milestones and helping to identify potential delays or issues.
  • Participate in planning meetings, helping to coordinate materials, equipment, and labor.
  • Prepare and maintain daily reports, photographs, and other site records.
  • Assist in reviewing drawings, specifications, and change orders.
  • Help ensure job site safety and adherence to company safety protocols.
  • Provide administrative support to the project team as needed.
