About The Position

At IPS, we are global leaders in developing innovative solutions for the consulting, architecture, engineering, project controls, procurement, construction management, and CQV of technically complex facilities, primarily in the life sciences industry. We are looking for a dedicated Construction Management Intern to join our talented team at our office located in Burlington, Massachusetts. In this role, you will assist staff with achieving technical, safety, and administrative objectives. This developmental position will enable you to learn to apply theoretical knowledge to practical applications. You will support the Project Manager, Superintendent, and Project Engineers with receiving, tracking, and transferring project-related information to and from outside subcontractors, vendors, and clients, through the IPS design and CQV teams using integrated IPS technologies.

Requirements

• Is pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline from an accredited technical institution or college.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of preconstruction, construction, and closeout execution plans as needed.
• Maintain written project scopes in collaboration with staff.
• Manage the receipt, documentation tracking, and transfer of submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Facilitate communication among project participants and document relevant interactions as necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
