About The Position

LCRA is looking for a Senior Construction Science Major for Spring Outage Support. This student will learn and participate in the planning and execution of power plant outages. You will be trusted to: Spring 2026 Schedule Baseline Development & Review - Support Outage Manager with Misc. Tasks - Compiling & Distributing Update Sheets - Incorporating Schedule Updates & Logic changes - Publishing Daily Schedule Updates - Leading Daily Outage Update Meetings - Conduct Walkdowns to Verify Activity Progress/Status - Work with Planning to Develop Spring 2026 Outage Schedules

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent.
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college program in senior year or has recently completed senior year (i.e., summer after graduating with a bachelor's degree).

Nice To Haves

• Senior Construction Science Major aspiring for a career in power generation.
• Background/knowledge of basic scheduling practices.
• Basic understanding of industrial/power generation facilities and projects.
