About The Position

As a Construction Laborer/CDL Driver within the signs division you will install signs in varying capacities including installing driver posts, setting/finishing foundations, erecting steel structures, and finishing earthwork as needed. As a Construction Laborer/CDL Driver within the guardrail division you will be responsible for assisting with the installation, repair, and removal of highway guardrail systems and related roadway safety infrastructure. This position works as part of a crew performing physically demanding outdoor work to ensure guardrail systems are installed safely, accurately, and in accordance with project specifications and safety standards. This roles require the ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment, follow safety procedures, and collaborate effectively with team members to complete projects on schedule. This is an entry-level position.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's license required, must be insurable under the company's vehicle insurance policy, as regular travel is an essential function of the role
• CDL A required
• Problem-solving skills
• Works well in a team environment where situations and demands change daily
• Effective Communication Skills
• Construction Experience
• Construction Equipment Operation
• Ability to accurately read a level and a tape measure
• Ability to perform manual labor as required in an outdoor environment in the heat, sun, cold, and rain
• This position will require working nights, weekends, and out-of-town to work on projects that could be a week(s) at a time
• The employee must lift or push/pull objects up to 75 lbs. without assistance
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and the risk of electrical shock
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud
