About The Position

The DRYCO Construction Internship Program is designed to provide college students with immersive, hands-on experience in the construction industry. Over the course of the program, interns will work closely with field experts, project managers, and construction professionals to gain practical knowledge, develop technical skills, and understand the operations behind multi-faceted projects. Interns will engage in both office and field activities covering bidding, project management, scheduling, cost estimation, quality control, and safety practices. This structured program gives students a unique opportunity to explore the various career paths within construction while contributing to real projects that impact local communities. As a Construction Intern, you will support DRYCO’s operational teams on a variety of pavement, concrete, and fencing projects. You will gain exposure to the full cycle of construction management in both office and field settings.

Requirements

• Open to juniors, seniors, and recent college graduates.
• Interest in construction, civil engineering, project management, or a related field.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be legally entitled to work in the United States.
• Commitment to full program duration (30–40 hours per week).

Responsibilities

• Assisting project managers and estimators with scheduling, budgeting, and project planning.
• Conducting site visits to observe field operations in asphalt, sealcoating, striping, concrete, and fencing.
• Learning and applying DRYCO’s industry-recognized safety practices.
• Collaborating with team members across departments to ensure efficient and high-quality results for clients.
