About The Position

Our assignments include small and medium-sized bridges, culverts, railroad grade separations, viaducts, and major water crossings in both rural and urban environments. TRC is seeking a Transportation Construction Inspector II to join our Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Practice across North Carolina, supporting projects in Hoke, Lee, Moore, Richmond, and Scotland counties. This position will report to our client's Aberdeen District Office. The ideal candidate will have transportation construction experience, with a preference for those who have worked on highway and bridge projects involving NCDOT or municipal transportation infrastructure.

Requirements

• 18 months or more of transportation construction inspection experience
• Experience working on NCDOT highway or bridge projects preferred
• ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician - Grade I
• ACI Aggregate Testing Technician - Level I or NCDOT Aggregate Level I
• Inspectors must be familiar with NCDOT Construction Manual, Standard Specifications, and testing procedures, and be able to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
