About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to help oversee and manage our projects on renewable energy projects, specifically utility scale solar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with a proven track record of successfully executing complex projects on time and within budget. As a Construction Forman, you will be responsible for working with the site Superintendent to coordinate all site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining effective communication between stakeholders.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role, preferably in renewable energy and utility scale solar projects.
Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. Conduct self in a way that represents the company in a safe and professional manner.
Ability to work 8-12 hours a day, 5-6 days a week.
Computer proficient with Microsoft Office program suite and web-based construction management programs.

Responsibilities

Assist Superintendent in managing day-to-day operations on the project site, ensuring that work is performed efficiently and meets project specifications.
Provide Superintendent with regular updates on project status, progress, and any issues or concerns.
Supervise and direct on-site personnel, including operators, laborers, subcontractors and vendors. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and compliance with company standards.
Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards promptly.
Monitor work quality and adherence to project plans and specifications. Implement corrective actions as needed to address deficiencies.
Maintain and ensure consistent and accurate field reporting including daily reports, extra work orders, safety logs, and incident reports.
Inspect all equipment onsite daily and report to management with needed repairs.
Track project quantities for scheduling, record keeping and billing in a timely manner.
