About The Position

Gardner Construction is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Construction Estimator with at least 3 years of experience in commercial construction estimating to join our team in Rockwall, TX. This is a fully in-office position where you will play a critical role in preconstruction, budgeting, and bid strategy. If you are confident in your estimating abilities, proficient in Procore, and ready to contribute to a growing commercial construction company, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of construction estimating experience (commercial preferred)
Proficiency in Procore is required
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing
Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
Experience coordinating with subcontractors and vendors

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for commercial construction projects
Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop competitive bids
Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals
Develop and manage budgets within Procore
Identify value engineering opportunities
Collaborate with project managers and leadership during preconstruction
Assist with bid reviews, scope clarification, and project handoffs
