About The Position

AECOM is seeking a Construction Engineering Manager to be based in Chicago, Illinois. You will be responsible for performing various management, leadership, and people accountability responsibilities for a specific technical group or department. This role requires full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating technical assignments, generally requiring multi-disciplinary knowledge of engineering. You will plan and develop engineering tasks concerned with unique or controversial problems, which involves exploration of the subject area, definition of scope, and selection of problems for investigation and development of novel concepts and approaches. Additionally, you will maintain liaison with units within the organization and individuals inside and outside of the organization, acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the field. This position works under minimal supervision, with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits. You will manage a group of engineers and/or technicians, coordinating activities of the unit.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree.
  • 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Driving is required for this position and must pass a MVR check.

  • Roadway Construction Experience.
