Overview Assist the Construction Crew Leader in the construction, remodeling and repair of building(s), equipment and utilities in accordance with federal, state and company policies. How you Will make a difference Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives that improve the customer experience, enhance work flow, and/or improve the work environment. Perform remodeling projects and repairs on buildings and equipment. Know and follow established safety rules and policies and procedures of the plant operations department. Maintain the building in good repair and keep free of hazards such as those caused by electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling systems. Work with the facility staff to maintain the building in compliance with federal, state, and local codes and laws. Perform renovation work, such as painting, carpentry, repair work, installing and/or changing lighting fixtures, and various other renovation tasks. Coordinate and participate in fire safety procedures that are used during the construction operation. Follow all state, local and OSHA safety guidelines. Use tools and equipment only for the designed purpose; never remove guards or any safety feature of any tool or piece of equipment. Keep construction areas, storage rooms and equipment neat, orderly and clear of debris. Maintain personal tool belt equipped with basic construction tools.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required or equivalent related work experience.
Ability to operate various pieces of equipment to include: construction equipment (saws, nail gun, paint sprayer, etc.) miscellaneous hand tools, etc.
Great opportunity for the right general construction person.
Shifts typically Monday - Thursday 10 hours.
We prefer you reside in Kentucky.
Day and overnight travel is required.
Reliable transportation required.
