Construction Coordinator 1-Field

About The Position

The primary focus of this position is to ensure coordination of Electrical Transmission/Distribution projects, working closely with the field management, project managers, and customer representatives. Reports to Project Manager regarding operations performance, execution challenges, and customer issues. Supports Field Team assigned under designated basket of work.

Requirements

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
A minimum of 1-5 years of electrical transmission and distribution industry experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Possession of a valid California driver's license, Class C, with the ability to maintain insurability under the company’s insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

USA markings as well as online or call-in submission.
Domestic and Commercial customer contact (“Door hanger” notifications)
Posting / Picking up of temporary “No Parking”, “Blocked driveway”, Blocked alley” notices
Field verification of work orders, outage or switching requirements
Pre-field and completion photos of various work types
Preparation of field packages (Customer TLM, Door hangers, No parks, USA’s, Customer contact)
Utilizing the customer portal to access circuit maps, work order maps, FIM maps, CSS, TLM
Preparation of daily foreman or job packages / folders
Requesting of third-party vendors (Diggers, Traffic control, Cranes, Environmental, Inspection requests, Concrete repair)
Requesting of customer resources (Airops, Tree Trimming, Gotspill, Generation, Mapping, Permitting)
Foreman, general foreman and superintendent support
Maintaining of crew calendars and crew scheduling
Data entry and database maintenance
Closing / building of construction books
Coordination with environmental associates
Coordination with sub-contractor resources
Building station maps for projects
Requesting NTO, Outages, Transmission clearances and basic switching programs
Submittal of map changes to customer for completed work
Performs other duties as assigned.
