About The Position

WolfSteel continues to push the bar higher in the metal building industry, and we’re growing again. Join a dynamic and innovative construction team that specializes in delivering high-quality metal buildings with solid concrete foundations. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Building Coordinator to join our team and collaborate closely with our Building Manager, Building Coordination Team, and our building contractors to ensure the successful completion of our projects. You’ll manage scheduling, logistics, and trade communication from the office and then hit the road to ensure jobs are executed to WolfSteel’s standards. If you’re sharp, curious, and enjoy understanding how projects come together from blueprint to completion we want you on the team. A day in the life of a Building Coordinator: Workdays: Monday–Friday (occasional weekends or on-call as needed) Hours: 8AM–5PM (Central), OT as needed based on workload

Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination: Work closely with the Building Manager and building coordination team to plan, organize, and coordinate metal building projects from start to finish.
  • Contractor Management: Coordinate with metal building contractors and subcontractors to oversee project deliveries. Ensure that contractors adhere to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and address challenges or obstacles that may arise during construction. Collaborate with the team to develop creative solutions and mitigate risks.
  • Material Procurement: Coordinate with the Building Manager, Purchasing Team, and suppliers on procurement of materials and supplies needed for the projects and ensure timely delivery and availability of materials.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between the Building Manager, building coordination team, contractors, and other stakeholders. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to resolve issues and keep the project on track.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Conduct inspections and quality checks as needed.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project activities, including schedules, budgets, change orders, and other relevant documentation. Prepare reports and updates for management
  • Resourceful: Stay informed about industry best practices and incorporate relevant strategies.
