About The Position

As a Construction Accountant, you will manage financial activities specific to construction projects, ensuring accurate cost tracking, budgeting and reporting to support project profitability and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in theconstructionindustry
• Knowledge of job costing, AIAbillingandconstructioncontracts
• Proficiencyin accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage 300, Procore)
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Track and record project costs, budgets and change orders
• Prepare draw requests, progressbillingsand job cost reports
• Reconcile accounts and ensuretimelypayment of subcontractors and vendors
• Monitor project budgets and provide financial analysis to project managers
• Ensure compliance withcontract terms, accountingstandardsand tax regulations
