About the team and the role: Goldin, an eBay company, is the leading collectibles marketplace platform, with millions of customers globally. We are seeking intermediate to expert level skill sets in several fields in the Music, Entertainment Collectibles area. The consignment director is responsible for sourcing high end collectibles and placing them into auction and handling communications from beginning of sale to end. A strong knowledge of the subject matter is required. High end sales experience and/or prior collectibles work related experience is a plus.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years Hobby related experience
  • Strong communication , oganization and interpersonal skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Bachelor Degree
  • Salesforce, excel, email

Responsibilities

  • Ability to Offer advice and recommendations to experienced collectors confidently
  • Able to identify authentic and counterfeit items
  • Ability to evaluate a wide range of collectibles
  • Outbound/Inbound Sales efforts via email, phone
  • Well spoken and strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Must possess strong knowledge of Memorabilia
  • Strong Relationship Management Skills catering to High Net Worth customers
  • Consistently able to close sales by engaging customers and driving revenue growth
  • Meet and exceed quota expectations through strong sales execution, organization and follow-through
  • Create and manage auctions to maximize product visibility and sales performance
  • Offer White glove services for sellers
