About The Position

OrthAlign, Inc., a Smart Technologies, growing medical device company, has an immediate opening for a Consignment Analyst I. This position supports the department by performing a variety of tasks, with primary responsibility for consigned management, monthly reporting, and key metrics dashboard development. The Consignment Analyst I may partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations and Commercial Operations to streamline consignment operations and drive performance.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency using MS Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Results-oriented, positive, "can-do" attitude with appropriate urgency and tenacious follow-up.
  • Ability to work as a collaborative team member as well as independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail, producing high quality output appropriate to broader context.
  • Flexibility and strong organization skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Applies sound judgement when making decisions and communicating with peers and management.
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience involving customer contact and resolution of customer difficulties is essential.
  • ERP experience, preferably in Expandable.
  • Experience developing and transforming a processes and procedures to drive efficiencies and improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Field Inventory (consigned instrument sets and units)
  • Develop and communicate processes and procedures to control and ensure efficient utilization of field inventory.
  • Perform regular annual audits and reconciliation of inventory held at customers and distributors.
  • Develop and provide regular reporting and metrics of field inventory utilization.
  • Evaluate field inventory levels and utilization; provide recommendations on optimal inventory levels.
  • Partner with sales management distributors to analyze and redeploy assets.
  • Review, research, investigate and resolve field inventory discrepancies and disputes related to transferred, returned, lost or damaged inventory.
  • Produce regular department reports for internal and external groups.
  • Publish key metrics Dashboard for the department.
  • Serve as backup for Customer Master Data maintenance.
  • Responsible for overseeing loaner program.
  • Accountable for set turns utilization and reallocations.
