About The Position

Join the iconic Bellagio Conservatory team as a Gardener, where your work helps create one of the most breathtaking experiences on the Las Vegas Strip. In this role, you’ll play a key part in the day-to-day care and upkeep of our stunning displays, ensuring every detail is beautifully maintained and visually captivating for our guests. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us!

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• One (1) year of prior relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Knowledgeable of exterior and interior plant materials, irrigation practices and pesticide applications
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays

Responsibilities

• Maintain landscaping and plant health by planting, transplanting, fertilizing, watering, pruning, weeding, and applying chemicals; care for annuals, turf, trees, and shrubs while monitoring soil, fertilizer, moisture, and overall appearance
• Ensure proper pest and irrigation management practices
• Inspect work areas to identify safety hazards and ensure landscaping meets appearance standards
• Operate power and motorized equipment such as blowers, hedge trimmers, tractors, lawn mowers, edgers, chainsaws, aerial lifts, forklifts, turf aerators, and roto-tillers
• Use manual hand tools and equipment including rakes, loppers, hand saws, pruning shears, shovels, hoes, fertilizer spreaders, pesticide sprayers, sod knives, and hedge shears
• Drive and operate company vehicles or carts to travel between properties, transport materials and equipment, and unload and inspect inventory
