About The Position

Carolina Energy Conservation is expanding rapidly, and we are seeking a high-performing, experienced in-home sales professional to join our Dr. Energy Saver team. This role focuses on helping homeowners improve comfort, energy efficiency, and overall home performance through solutions such as insulation upgrades, air sealing, duct improvements, crawlspace conditioning, and attic systems.

Requirements

  • Experienced in in-home sales, residential real estate, home improvement, HVAC, insulation, roofing, pest control, or home inspection.
  • Comfortable with 100% commission-based income.
  • Strong communication, listening, follow-up, and closing skills.
  • Proficient with technology, CRM systems, and mobile tools.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and commitment to doing what is right for customers.
  • Must be comfortable in tight or confined spaces, including attics and crawlspaces.
  • Must be able to work on roofs and elevated areas safely.
  • Must tolerate hot, cold, humid, or dusty environments.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Extensive driving required throughout the service area.
  • Regular ladder use, kneeling, crawling, and moderate physical activity.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of construction or home building science (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Run company-provided and self-generated leads with homeowners interested in attic, crawlspace, and whole-home energy-saving solutions.
  • Perform thorough home energy evaluations and diagnose comfort, efficiency, and moisture issues.
  • Present complete solution packages using the Dr. Energy Saver® sales system, building trust and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Close sales through strong communication, education, and integrity-based recommendations.
  • Follow up diligently with homeowners, maintain accurate notes, and manage opportunities within CRM software.
  • Work closely with production, customer service, and management to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
