About The Position

Are you passionate about coaching, team development, and driving performance? Are you looking for a role where you can make a direct impact on both people and operations? Working at Vision Group’s head office means being part of North America’s leader in vision correction. It means contributing directly to the growth of the organization while supporting more than 12 brands and 70 clinics across Canada and the United States. It’s about working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with flexible work arrangements tailored to each employee. We are looking for a driven and people-focused professional who thrives on developing talent and improving performance. In this role, you will act as a coach, trainer, and strategic partner to Clinical Counselors, supporting their development and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

  • You hold a post-secondary diploma in education, sales, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • You have relevant experience in sales, customer service, training, or people development in a results-driven environment.
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable using training tools and LMS platforms.
  • You have strong communication skills and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • You are autonomous, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • You are bilingual in French and English, as you will communicate with English-speaking partners across Canada.
  • You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment combining remote work and occasional travel within your region.
  • You are available to travel regularly, including extended stays when required.

Responsibilities

  • You provide verbal and written feedback to Clinical Counselors to reinforce learning and performance.
  • You collaborate closely with Center Directors and performance teams to implement targeted development strategies.
  • You deliver onsite training to new Clinical Counselors to support onboarding and performance ramp-up.
  • You design and facilitate engaging training sessions and webinars to drive knowledge retention.
  • You leverage and optimize the Learning Management System (LMS) by assigning and tracking training to support continuous development.
  • You plan and lead regular training sessions aligned with business priorities.
  • You contribute to performance evaluations by providing structured feedback and conducting thorough validations.
  • You build strong relationships with stakeholders and efficiently manage the administrative tasks related to the role.

Benefits

  • You have a permanent, full-time position.
  • You will receive a competitive base salary with performance-based bonuses.
  • This role offers a hybrid work environment - a combination of remote work and travel across clinics within your region (including Quebec, notably Gatineau, and Atlantic Canada), allowing you to stay closely connected to teams and operational realities.
  • Occasional presence at our Montreal Head Office is also expected for candidates based in the area (our offices are located downtown Montreal, within walking distance of the Bell Centre and Lucien-L’Allier metro stations).
  • You receive 4 personal days for unforeseen events, 3 additional days off during the holiday season, and paid Friday afternoons off in July and August.
  • You benefit from a comprehensive group insurance plan, including telemedicine and an employee assistance program.
  • You have access to a group RRSP with employer contributions, as well as a short-term incentive plan.
  • You benefit from free refractive surgery.
  • You become part of one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.
  • You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping expand access to eye care.
  • You benefit from the support of a strong national network and the solid reputation of Vision Group.
  • You will grow in a role that values motivation, creativity, and tangible results.
