Job Summary: This job is responsible for leading a group of employees who perform strategic analysis to understand portfolio risk, increase profitability, and optimize operational performance. Key responsibilities include determining strategic priorities for the team, identifying trends, and leading efforts to maximize risk versus return for the business unit. Job expectations include using data and analytics to solve complex problems, coaching and developing employees, and partnering across technology, product, and risk leadership to drive performance. The Consumer Product Strategy Manager I will support Client Protection Performance Excellence and is responsible for providing project management and support, business metric and performance analysis and report management at several different levels. Candidates must have the ability to think strategically and perform in a proactive manner with limited supervision.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience overseeing large data and reporting initiatives from conception to execution and support
  • Experience defining, developing, implementing and managing an E2E Reporting Project life cycle
  • Ability to learn the business and develop solid partnerships with both business and technical colleagues
  • Ability to collaborate with business and technical experts to develop reporting solutions and business requirement documents
  • Proficiency with Sharepoint development and support
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Advanced proficiency in Tableau
  • Advanced proficiency with SQL
  • Experience working with Hadoop and Teradata
  • Experience working with Microstrategy
  • Effective planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment, be creative, and be able to balance multiple priorities simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Client Protection Line of Business teams to drive strategy and integrate delivery to ensure the customer view is at the forefront of decisions in the achievement of goals.
  • Assist in the design, development, execution and management of an end-to-end Report Development and Support Process Life Cycle.
  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of reporting and analytics necessary to drive the right associate behaviors needed to achieve strategic goals.
  • Have accountability for decisions, including process changes, based on VOC feedback and customer analytics.
  • Supports department-wide strategies and portfolio trend analysis, forecasting, and risk/control performance.
  • Leads innovation by identifying and championing large scale initiatives that improve the risk management, profitability, and control oversight of risks for the business unit.
  • Maintains strategic relationships with peers and counterparts across product, technology, and business control functions.
