About The Position

HireNow Staffing is partnering with a nationally respected law firm to identify a skilled Conflicts Research Analyst to join its expanding conflicts and compliance team in Denver, Colorado. This role is essential to protecting the firm's integrity and ensuring attorneys can confidently accept new matters while meeting strict professional responsibility standards. The Conflicts Research Analyst plays a front-line role in evaluating potential conflicts of interest tied to new client engagements, lateral attorney hires, and ongoing matter intake. The ideal candidate brings law firm conflicts experience, excellent investigative instincts, and the ability to handle sensitive information with accuracy, discretion, and sound judgment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of conflicts experience in a mid-to-large law firm environment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant law firm experience
  • Working knowledge of legal ethics rules and professional responsibility standards
  • Demonstrated experience conducting conflict checks, intake reviews, or corporate research
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship now or in the future)
  • Ability to work hybrid onsite in Denver, CO
  • Comfortable with the stated compensation range

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Intapp Open or comparable conflicts software
  • Background drafting conflict waivers or ethical screen documentation
  • Experience supporting large-scale conflicts database cleanup initiatives
  • Strong legal writing or analytical reporting capabilities
  • Multi-office or multi-jurisdiction law firm experience

Responsibilities

  • Conduct conflict checks using the firms' electronic conflicts system (Intapp or similar platforms)
  • Build effective search strategies to identify potential conflicts involving clients, adversaries, affiliates, and related entities
  • Analyze search results and provide clear summaries for Conflicts Counsel and attorneys
  • Perform corporate research using external databases to uncover ownership structures, parent/subsidiary relationships, and affiliations
  • Draft key documentation, including engagement letters, conflict waivers, and ethical screen memorandums
  • Collaborate with Conflicts Counsel, General Counsel, attorneys, and administrative teams to support conflict resolution
  • Assist with reconciliation and cleanup of client and matter records within the conflicts database
  • Provide responsive, high-level support to attorneys and legal assistants across practice areas
  • Support time-sensitive requests outside regular business hours when necessary
