Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding and application of technical principles, theories, and concepts.
- Proven experience in configuration/change management and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional attention to detail, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
- Ability to influence and secure internal resources and support.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to evaluate and recommend the best Configuration Management (CM) tools.
- Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities
- Improve and lead the configuration management processes for effective control and capture of configuration changes.
- Maintain an accurate and compliant CMDB or PDM, reflecting "as-configured state" and historical configurations.
- Conduct baseline identification, change control, status accounting, and configuration reviews.
- Maintain and execute comprehensive change implementation plans, including validation steps, escalation plans, and rollback methods.
- Oversee the SCR database and bi-weekly Configuration Control Board (CCB) and Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
- Manage SCRs through the entire change process and lead CCB meetings for reviewing change requests.
- Administer program CCB and Technical Review Board (TRB) meetings.
- Ensure standardized methods, processes, and procedures for handling changes.
- Deliver weekly status reports on planned/unplanned changes.
- Inform program leadership of discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Recommend policy changes and establish procedures.
- Evaluate CM tools and recommend the best options.
